MY LAST OJT EXPERIENCE
Good day everyone! It's me again Helen Grace Fuentes Cunahap a BSIT 4-A and a graduating students of Northern Iloilo State University Lemery Campus.
It's been a month since I started my OJT here at Department of Agriculture office . Every day is a challenge for me to stand out. I have to wake up early in the morning for a long day activities. And within 320 hours of my OJT at Deparment of Agriculture I already learned a lot of things more than what I expected but I’ve noticed that there are still other things that I have to improve.
Experience is the best teacher. It may be hard at first, but once we learn to appreciate and love what we’re doing, it became easier and easier every day. Since I started my on-the-job training, or “internship,” I’ve learned how to faced the real world of being an employee and talked to different people. I know sometimes I failed and made mistakes during I have assigned task. I take it as a challenge, to improve more, and to move forward. Big thanks to our bosses for always reminding us to be efficient everytime we have a tasked.

During my internship, I realized that it’s not easy to be an employee. As what I observe there, they encountered a lot of problems and need to solve it right away. Even though they are having a hard timebl but they still enjoying their works. My training for 2 months in the Department of Agriculture become very meaningful to me because it helped me grow as a person. Those working days, on how to deal with the other people, the skills and knowledge that you will need to apply in analyzing the situations or the task that they given to you. I am very grateful to them for accepting me in their office and teaching me a lot of things, without them I will not be able to accomplish my 320 hours of On-the-Job Training. Working here at Department of Agriculture helps me to become more efficient in dealing with the people around me. Socializing and building relationship with other employees, to be humble and always eager to learn, and many more. This OJT allowed me to get acquainted with the employees of the Department of Agriculture . During my stay there, they kept encouraging and motivating me to study hard and always do my best.
April 14,2023 last day of our OJT, I felt mixed emotions, happy and sad. Happy because I already finished my 320 hours of OJT, sad because I will surely missed our supervisor and other employees who helped, motivate, and encourage me. Those inspirational/motivational life lessons and advices from them. I'm glad to have them because they give us lots of knowledge that will surely help us to our future career. I can say that, I really had a meaningful and memorable OJT at the Department of Agriculture.
Thank you so much for this memorable and unforgettable experience Department of Agriculture (Lemery Iloilo) 💞❤️🤗
